firstly may I say Hi to everyone .....newbie here!

Well i am thinking of buying a 2001 wrx wagon with a tipronic box and gear changers on the s/wheel.......all sounds fine eh!

But... the present owner said that he is having a problem with it changing from 2nd to 3rd ! he is saying it slips between gear changes

he can get it to change by taking foot off the throttle changing gear and then on the throttle again,

why doesn't it change with throttle on?

do you think this is a big expensive problem or what?

replies asap please as i would like to find a car asap

i have a bugeye triptronic gearbox for sale

it was my old car, before my mate wrote it off

anyway it was spot on thru the gears even with foot to the floor,it would change up ne bother
