Which Exhaust
#1
Hi everyone!
need some help on the choice of exhaust....
I have a P1 - with prodrive backbox, this is a second car so doesn't do many miles.
To be honest it sounds a bit girly!.
I don't mind if it is loud, as if it's a long journey i'll take the crap astra company car.
I'm thinking an HKS super dragger with an hks downpipe to remove the cats and give me a healthy power gain.
Anyone recommend anyone good to do this locally i.e. Guildford area?
p.s. I don't like the sound of a scoobysport one, it's a bit raspy for me.
I want deep burbling, with the odd pop and bang on overrun which would be nice!
ideas/suggestions?
Cheers

Check out here for a loud system http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...threadid=73881
Can't say I've heard one of these systems, but I think they are well known as being VERY loud

Go for the HKS system, but down use a HKS down pipe, I have moved from one, its better than standard but not great, I has a plate welded in which is only a bit less restrictive than a cat.
I moved up to a scooby sport 3 inch down pipe attached to my HKS system, so far no problems, except a aching jaw from the big grinns

Second that re the HKS DP, isn't it similar to the OEM one where it blanks of the wastegate? Get a SS DP and then a Hyper or something Isn't BPM twister supposed to be chuffing loud too?

Had a 3" Scoobysport Downpipe and HKS Ti-Hiper Backbox along with HKS centre fitted to my P1 last weekend.
Absoloutely Fantastic! Great Noise (Pretty Loud!) a few pops and bags and there seems to be plenty more power
I definitely reccommend this set-up!
