Rallycol,

Try Stuart at Town End Garage. 01524 733837.I think he has a rebuilt Possum kit.

FYI it is slightly stronger (say 10% max) by virtue of different gear material but the limitation of std tooth count and profile is still there.

Rallycol,

Can get you a new Possum kit for circa £1700.
Would value a recon at £700.

Genuine front plated diff from Prodrive c.£850
Rear plated £550

Stuart at Town End has Torsen Front Diffs at £500 ish..
Would recommend torsen as front plated can be snatchy - and not really suitable for tarmac.

Just another thought.... we have a Dog Kit made by the man who makes the "Possum kits" on trial at present - circa £2900 if you are interestesd.

Maybe interested in the future .I havent looked at the car yet and I'm going abroad to look at it at the weekend .Its a very good spec and double national championship winning car full group N before dog boxes were allowed. With a load of spares its a cheap car, do you run a car yourself?

Or you could just go for a full dog-box from MRT, for A$7,000.

You could also try the Twin Turbo boxes, they are slightly stronger about the same as the ones you are querying. Plus they use a twin baulk ring setup to aid that crunch from first to second.

I have just got one for my car, cheaper than those gear kits and had all the gears crack tested and shot peened.

Just rang them. NZ$5,500 for the Group N gear kit, which is currently being used by Cody Crocker, and Possum has used these in the past.
