Question

Noticed today that the fins on my intercooler are in a pretty bad way - about 10-20% or so look totally bent from stones etc

Can't afford a FMIC for now but rather than just get another standard TMIC, will I see any benefit from fitting one from a MY95 STI or later for example?

Alternatively, are there any other aftermarket intercoolers that would fit and actually benefit the car?

Lightbulb

try the following link

http://www.autospeed.com/A_0868/page1.html

it has lots of info on different intercoolers options.

can't remember but there is a enhanced tmic which looks good for the MY95. I have the STI IC there is virtually on difference in the core to the standard WRX IC, unless u go the MY97 version which is alot better but won't fit the MY95.
