Is there a deferens between the intake manifold of a WRX MYOO and a STI 5 inlet manifold except for the red coating?

kurt if you mean the manifold of the new bug eyed imp then it may be because they have tumble generator valves in them basically a flap like a throttle body for emissions when cold. but the sti type uk doesnt have these. so how old would the sti 5 be as im not up on imports.

I've got an old shape IMPREZA WRX OR GT turbo could in Europe MY00 and I which to convert it whit an STI 5 engine but the inlet manifold is missing so I need to now if the manifold from my GT turbo will fit the Sti engine

No I don't believe so. The red ones are flowed better and also are lower in height.
