Thinking of doing this to mine.I currently have a Prodrive WRSport backbox and am thinking of replacing the centre section with a Scoobysport de-cat version. Will this make the car noisier and will it give it a bit more power? (Couple of BHP???)

Thanks in advance!

Nick..

Nick,

I know it will add more power in the region of (15 BHP) i believe,
it will also add more noise but not too much as you are running the WR back box,let me know what you think after you have done this as i'm thinking about doing it and i've currently got the same set up as you.

Nick
I replaced the centre cat on mine but
kept the centre piece with the res box.
with the standard back box there was no increase in
noise, the turbo spools up a bit earlier and the car
revs slightly better top end. When i added a wr sport
back box it was a bit louder, mainly under hard throttle,
than a demonstrator i drove a subaru dealers with just bb.
steve.

Zippy,
Finally got it fitted tonight (Thursday). It only arrived on Wednesday.........
Noticed that the turbo seems to spin up quicker now and not a great increase in noise.I've only driven it home from the garage so perhaps a little early to comment.Email me offline if you need more info? (Time for the downpipe decat now uh? )

Cheers m8,

Nick..
