My car has symptons of above , erractic idling, hesitation to 3000 rpm from 400rpm both when hot or cold . Higher up in the rev range its fine , I have read somewhere that ECU ignores the Lambda at higher revs is this true ??

Can I test the Lambda , as no check engine sign showing and CEL test is clear , maybe check its colour/condition to try and isolate if its the problem, before forking out on a new one ?

thanks
