Default What do i do?

I have a whine from my gearbox, and also a nasty sound on over run. it does it in every gear? could it be the clutch on the way out? or is it more serious?

what can i do to fix it? and if i need a new box where can i get one from?

2003 sti.

Not likely to be the clutch, IMHO.

API are used by lots on here, sound as a pound !

cool i was gonna give them a ring, didnt know if they did gearboxes or not. anyone got any ideas on how much im looking at for a rebuilt one?

No idea on cost for a 6speeder... but rest assured, they KNOW what they're doing!!!

yep, totally stock. its werid, zen even told me a week before that its was all spot on. then all of a sudden it started whining a little, then it got louder, and know theres a horrible crunchy type noise on over run or de celrerating
