Default Torque setting.

Can anyone tell me the torque setting for the rear hubnut on a classisc impreza & also the torque setting for lower rear arm bolt that goes through the rear of the hub assembly & hud mouting bolt to rear damper strut. Thanks Steve.

Because the sleeves of the bearing are ground to give a certain amount of preload when tightened you would have a pretty hard job of overtightening them with hand tools

Lower Hub Bolt (the long one that goes through the 2x lateral links) = 100Lbft (135Nm)

Shock Absorber > Hub = 162Lbft (220Nm)

Trailing Arm > hub = 66Lbft (90Nm)

Hub Nut = 137Lbft (186Nm)
