Could anybody tell me how to change the rear diff on a uk 99 turbo??

Im just wondering how the rear drive shafts come out, do you have to remove the rear hubs or will the shafts come out when the diff is lowered down??

As you lower the diff the shafts can be popped out.
Another bit of advice on the diff...try to extract the 2 studs that bolts the diff to the subframe,I found that this was a nightmare trying to drop the diff with them in.

From the above, can the studs just be wound out? Ie 2 nuts locked together then used to wind the threaded bar out of the over plate?

If so this is an utter life saver!
