could someone with an sti 5 type r please let me know what kind of mods can be done to improve my performnce currently running 1/4 mile in approx 12 seconds.Having just returned from the land of the rising sun i was pleased to see some very highly tuned scoobys but as my japanese isn't to good it was very dificult to find out exactly what kind of modifications had been done.I would be grateful if somebody could let me know what i could do as i would like to spend a few quid on my car (obviously alot more than a few quid) as so i can come and join the boys to give them COSSIE BOYS a good whipping.

Hi there. I would change ECU, then fit 4>2>1 headers with twin out down pipe & 3" Jap exhaust... then do the K&N with heat sheild... spend some $$$ on a nice suspention setup ie: KYB AGX with Eibach springs etc... anti-lift kit with solid swaybar links... Upgrade brake pads to 'Endless' or Mintex on new Brembo discs... Any dosh left ?? lol.. upgrade the front speakers (don't use the factory position for the tweeters) Once you've done this lot Email me !!
