I think the fuel pump on my 94 wrx 60000 miles has packed in.

relays okay , dos this sound conisistent with the mileage age ?

Is it unusual for the fuel pump to fail on an impreza ?

I need to ensure this is the problem before ordering one !

Assuming the car isn't under warranty:

If it does turn out to be the pump, I noticed that a company called Sytec make in-tank replacements for the Impreza (standard and uprated):

Demon Tweeks also sell them.

..or you may be able to pick one up from a breakers.

Thanks

Gavin
