Default rear diff

rear diff is starting to get noisy/vibrate on overrun.
Can someone tell me what ratio my diff is and what years will fit??
My car is a 97 uk turbo.
I have tried some specialists who quote £150-180 +vat but just want to know
for future reference.

All UK turbos are 3.5:1 rear diff (overall drive ratio is 3.9, but there is a 1.1:1 drop gear in the rear of the gearbox)...3.5 can also be found in the rear of an SVX! Classic WRX/STi are not the same, but I have been told neage UK WRX's are 3.5 to one and compatible as well.

Hi
I've got a UK rear diff works perfect for sale if you need one. You can have it for a lot less than the figurees you have quoted.

Thanks
Jon
