Lightbulb New Clutch & belts? on a late 2002 STI Bugeye

Hi all members - i'm new to this game so please don't be harsh on me
im thinking of changing my clutch as i get some strange smells of burning in the car at times & i have only been plodding around in town & not booting it at all! as its coming up to the 80k mark on the clock & i can't find a paper stating the clutch has been changed!! WOW!! amazing cars these Scooby's if still on original clutch also concidering changing the timing belts too as it was done when at the 40k mark so i am guessing its wise to do these also just in case at the same time? is it a hard job?.

so my questions..
1) anyone can guide me to what clutch? i hear a lot of Exedy is good but my car is running around 400bhp & has 6 forward gears! ..HELP please!

2) anyone on here know where to go to get these items & can help with the installation?? i been getting silly quotes etc

3) i am in London & i was considering the trip to ScoobyClinic In Chesterfield but looking to see if i have a closer options?

Kindest regards & thanks for reading my mail ..any help much appreciated!
Tim

slowboy-racing.co.uk do cambelts for IIRC 175 + vat. I'm sure they do driveline stuff as well.

They're based in lewisham (SE13)

Hi Tim,

1) An uprated Exedy may be at it limits if you have similar torque. We offer a clutch which can handle that output, without having to resort to paddle clutches (not very nice to drive on the road) or twin plates (expensive). Can also offer you a lightweight flywheel to go with it too. PM me for further info

2/3) Mocom Racing are quite close to you and do a good job
