Hi,

Im a relatively new owner of my V4 Type-r and have taken on my first job with it this weekend.

The rear diff had play in it and would knock everytime it was loaded, so I set about removing it from the car (amazingly easy job coming from an MR2!) and stripping it down with the intention of shimming it (I had been advised that this is what needed doing).

I have now stripped the diff but i'm unsure where it needs shimming, is it directly behind the pinion head? Any help and advise would be greatly appriciated.
