Uprated 5 speed gearbox mount- Where from?!?!?
Anyone got any advice on where i can grab a Uprated / group N Gearbox mount for a 5 speed box fairly quickly.
No one seems to have one on the shelf, surely someone knows of someone somewhere here that does them.
Any advice??
Si

I was told they come from Prodrives source!
Got mine from Mark at Lateral with the matching engine mounts. Good mod.

Mine come from RCMS.
Be aware that transmission noise will increase with the harder mounts and some people have found this unacceptable.

It's a straight cut dog box, with antilag, being used in rallycross...
Noise isn't exactly a priority
Got one from Mark in the end, very fast delivery too.

The gearbox is held more rigidly so there is less flex. It is debatable that you will notice a great benefit on a normal road car and there will certainly be more transmission noise.
If the rigidity of securing the gearbox has become an issue because of drag starts or whatever then you may consider these an advantage, outweighing the increased noise.

Doh!. I meant John missed seeing the comma between box and antilag, before joking about the box having antilag ... so assuming ... ohh never mind, I am rubbish at explaining these things!
My Grammar is no more ... RIP
