Any diff/drivetrain issues on RA's MY95-97

*The title should read MY95-97*

A friend of mine has asked if I can find any info out on his question below....

Does anyone know if there were any know faults or issues with the diffs / drivetrain of any wrx type RA 1995/6/7

The rear tyres appear to have worn away very quickly compared the the fronts and as there is no DCCD on this model he is trying to understand why or how this happened.

Any help would be appreaciated on this one.
