Hi guys, i find it difficult to change speed in my scoob... well, 1stly, the gears are sooo far!!!!! and if i use the gear to slow down, the car makes as if its gna stall.... i have to make sure my foot is on the accelerator and press it halfway, so that it goes smoothly....

Its the same with reverse as well, It keeps vibrating / stallling, but the engine hasnt cut off yet.... i try to accelerate a bit more....

Any recomendation??? should i change it?? will it affect the clutch if i continue to use it like this???? price price? how much will it be approx...

 

That sounds like the clutch to me.
The gearbox will fail next if you carry on too long.

Time for a nice new clutch IMHO.

A good up rated clutch fitted will be about £500 ish. If the box has not been off before, the job can be a bitch.
