Question 6 speed into jdm classic sti?

Guys need your assistance:

I have a v5 sti and want to put a jdm 6 speeder in, my question is does the rear diff need changing?

Is it a case of just gearbox, linkage, and prop?

anything else? I have done a search but I cant find what i'm looking for, it all relates to 6mt into uk classic.

cheers

You will need the diff (as the final drive is 3.900 as opposed to the 4.444 final drive of your diff), drive shafts, hubs and brembo brakes.

Or the easier option would be to find a diff from a Version 2 sti ra, which has a final drive of 3.900 and this will drop straight in.

V1 or V2 STI RA diffs are like hens teeth though, however you can get a 3.9 CWP from a sport rear diff and rebuild yours - not a cheap option though!
