Default torque settings/david api one for u

i am re buildind the box in my turbo 2000 99 the main long shaft in the gearbox what has a 35mm nut on when i tighten it up then the last cog wont turn but if i slacken it off it turns but then i will surely end up with a wine from the box??? i just dont know how tight it should be ???? any one

david while you are answering that one could i be cheaky and ask you to answer me another
i have removed my center diff and want to take it apart i have taken the big circle wire clip off but still cant remove the round plate from the top ? do you know how it comes apart ? thanks
