I'm using the 10 row Link ECU on a MY99 Impreza.
I've just fitted an FMIC to the car and now my tuning module shows that my vacuum on tickover is 80 kpA. If I rev the car and lift off the accelerator, the module shows it increasing to 78kpA before returning to 80kpA.
Checking with two boost gauges, one (Racetech gauge)shows -0.65 bar on tickover and -0.75 bar on overrun. The other when fitted, shows 19In Hg on tickover and 24 In Hg on the overrun.
The problem is when I had the original top mount in place my tuning module showed tickover to be in row 2 of the ECU and row 1 on the overrun, now it stays in row 3.
I thought there may be a leak somewhere but I have checked all pipework and can't find any, so need help to find the cause.
Any suggestions on what can be wrong?, or can someone check their gauges to see what vacuum they get on idle and overrun and let me know.
If you get the same readings on the gauges as me, then that would indicate the engine side of things is okay, so there must be something wrong ( I think) with the ECU somehow.
Thanks
Alan
