MY2000 UK Turbo. The filter is a lowsy fit with no guarantee it's still sitting on the seal. It dropped into the bottom of the airbox at one end a few times during installation so me enjun may be getting unfiltered air. Had to force the top of the air box back on as recommended by the supplier! At £45 I expected better. Toying with putting the standard element back for piece of mind. Has anyone else found the same problem. If so is there a fix? Shame to go back to standard and lose all that extra air flow.

there was two foam strips with mine which made the filter fit in tight.

 

And me. Lid was a bit awkward to get back on though. Car's just been serviced and it wasn't mentioned. Perhaps they never looked?

I fitted one yesterday and used foam strips and it fits nice and snug

 

Jeff. I've got a My01 and had problems after I had fitted my K & N it just wouldn't pull at the top end and certainly not past 120 felt hesitant all the time top end, but felt better at lower speeds
