Hi all, today i confirmed that my 96 sti wagon requires a clutch. i thought the plate may have been dirty, so i launched it a couple of times and it is bad. the car still drives but you can feel the slip getting worse, it happens when reversing onto the drive and taking off. when driving it happens after every gearchange to an extent, if the revs aren't high enough the car chugs a fair bit. i plan to increase the horsepower a bit by stage 1 or 2 tuning so which clutch would be best? are there any experts about who won't charge the earth? i live in inverness but i'm prepared to travel virtually any distance. i need this done quickly preferably before winter. what sort of cost is involved i'm self employed and i'm going on holiday soon therefore i'll be minus 20 days wages when i return.
