MY poor GearBox HELP ME SAVE HER!
Hi guys/girls I’ve read though a few thread but nothing seams to help/answer my questions……..tho some are close.
I am finding it very difficult to change gear first when stationery is next to impossible though if I turn off the engine then put it into first then start her that fine… she wont go into any gear in till the revs match the road speed which is not very convenient!! And reverse makes so much noise that I dare not use it….. Unless I turn off the engine and put it into then start…. 4th has been a bit funny for a while though in till the other week when we had all the rain and I had to go though a very deep puddle maybe 12”-18” then I didn’t drive it for 2 weeks (gear oil looks very clear and clean) and when I drop the clutch it revs out so its taking it out of gear???
And the last thing the clutch has stuck down a couple of times (I’ve had to but my hand in the foot well and pull it back up!!!!!
Help Please!

Sounds like the clutch is still dragging, wheres the bitepoint on the pedal? (all the scoobs ive had are top 3rd)
theres no syncro in reverse, if yor getting grinding trying to put it in the your foot all the way on the clutch, then it has to be clutch related.
