You can hear the noise when the car is stationary but goes when you put the clutch pedal down. There isn't anything wrong with the clutch its self, no slipping or burning.
Can I just change the bearing, if so how much.

Cheers

Yes, you could change the bearing only, but as the job involves the removal of the g/box just the same, depending upon the mileage, it would make sense to replace the clutch assembly and be done with it! Saves another labour bill later on! Maybe a chance to upgrade to an AP or Helix assy.?
Sorry - don`t know the cost of the bearing.

Make sure your flywheel is in sufficiently good condition (possibly skim/replace) before fitting a paddle clutch. If you don't, you will end up with a very snatchy clutch, which is not fun to drive.
