This morning while I was checking fluid levels etc I noticed there seems to be another cam(?) that the throttle cable can go over. It seems to me that it would allow more throttle opening for the equivalent accelerator pedal movement & also faster opening. Has anyone moved their cable to this position & if so what effect did it have?

 

Think its there to allow for cruise control (which of course wrx's don't have) on other subaru models.
