Red face

My mate with his MY 98 Imprezza standard UK turbo is looking to get a new exhaust system. He wants a big one and one which makes a fair amount of noise . I have no idea, but I guess you guys do.

Thanx for any help

Cool

911boy,

If he really wants it loud, get the full (de-cat) ScoobySport exhaust just like mine. He wont be disapointed

How big is it? He wants one that wakes up the neighbours . Also what sort of price are we talking about?

I have no real idea but I'd greatly appreciate if you could give me your specs. or sent them to him directly (probably easiest).

It's about 3" diameter, and if he really wants to Terrorize the neibours that won't be a problem. Plenty of pops & bangs on overun.

!!!!Awwwooooooooooooga!!!!!! Max Power alert

Cheers

No No No No No!

If he wants to make noise he needs a full BPM system wih Twister 3 BB, I have just had the BB removed cos it was too noisey, now have the ScoobySport BB on the car, I can hardley hear it!!

The BPM has a 4in exit pipe, looks and sounds FANTASTIC!!!!! The BPM rumbles in the ground under your feet!!

He will not be disapointed!!!!!

I think the HKS Hiper zorsts may be 5in, with titanium tips too!!

But nowhere near as LOUD and BRUTAL as the BPM stuff!

I had a full Scoobysport system, changed the mid/rear a few weeks back for a HKS Hiper system. What a change, deeper rumble at tickover, really sings on throttle, looks awesome with the angled backbox and a dirty great tailpipe thats got to be 5" round.

Mid range torque seems to be better aswell I guess as its a 3" system as opposed to the 2.5" before. Also a nice touch with the Hiper is the option to insert an additional silencer if it all gets too loud

Talking

HKS Hyper is V Loud aproaching F Loud. I have no soundproofing on the car, which doesn't help. I, like your friend like loud, it's a little too loud even for me at motorway crusing speeds. Not bad enough that I would change it but I wouldn't consider anything louder. As mentioned before there is now a limited edition version with titanium tailpipe which turns blue when hot, MMMmmm. I can get my fist up the tailpipe....nothing sexual attached you understand...

....I'd better get my coat..
