Question Can power increase seemingly effect diff ratio's..?

I know it sounds ridiculous but I've been wondering this since my last round of engine mods (and subsequent increase in power..) as my EU05 WRX seems to be more biased towards rear than it used to be..(eg 9/10 of times rears light up first )

I know they're fixed 50:50 or there abouts, but it does seem different and everything else has remained the same..

Don't get me wrong, I like it as it's more fun. Maybe my previous mods are being better utilised with the current output..?

See 'View my Scoob' for full spec..

Wink

I get the same thing but thought it was because of my suretrac diffs and 2.5L torque...so sweet and easy to kick the back end out, its great! My 2L with about 350 bhp was almost the same but the std WRx rear diff tried to kill other road going persons by snaking up the road.

One thing, did you get your geometry setup? Mine's been done a few times and that also made a big difference for front end grip. I've got endless list of mods on suspension etc and couldn't say which one made the most difference.
