You shouldnt need to do an ecu reset on MY01's as the previos MY's had a different configuration that meant they took some time to learn, the MY01 and 02 learn virtually straight away what type of fuel and your driving style.
I suggest that you warm your car up and give her a good ragging!!
see if that cures it as you may have put her in some type of "limp mode". If its still not responding then take her to a dealer.
Just remember that you dont need an ecu reset on MY01&02!!

Tony, I may have solved it I put the original element back in,car lacks the low down pull the K & N gave it but now goes up to rev limit again ( didnt with K&N in top ) maybe it was flowing to much air and ecu was reducing fuel or something top end , still little bit surgy but will see if gets better.Cant believe a panel filter would make so much difference. connectins all seem fine,
Thanks. Sandman.
