Default Rear diff locking

Hi guys My rear diff on my 1996 Legacy GTB is locking. What i mean by locking is when the car has warmed up after a journey if i turn sharp on full lock the both rear wheels seem to want to travel at the same speed. In reverse is the same problem ist as if there is no slip in the diff so the rear wheels are locked like a fixed axle. I have changed the oil for the crown wheel but this does not go as far as the lsd (the oil was like new coming out). Has anyone stripped the lsd part of a diff? Whats involved?

The car has only done about 50k miles.

Thanks

Simon

Simon:
suggest you call David at Welcome to the API website
He is doing my diff at present, and Rob, his transmission man, will know the solution.

That is just the APIhomepage.
Guess you have seen something in mind.

Their place is solid with stuff, so you find what you want.
