DIFF RATIOS
hi everybody. i have got a 2000 w reg p1 and i am in the middle of do an engine build. having a bit of trouble with diff ratios.i need to no what diff ratios are in the front crown wheel and also the rear and centre?.
any help would be much appreciated.

P1 is the same as StiV 4 door - so 4.44 front and rear diffs, viscous central diff and 1.1 drop gears - unlike the UK models which run 1.1:1 drop gears and therefore need differing diffs front to rear to get back to the 50:50 split.

Most unusually; Alyn [ stockcar ] is wrong. Fatboy is correct.
I don't expect the sun to come up tomorrow, 'cos that's about the only other thing that could happen when Alyn makes a mistake.
