'FULL' 6spd dccd-a conversion.
How much are we looking at for this kit:
6speed DCCD-A box
Rear diff
Propshaft
All 4 driveshafts
Gear linkage
Starter motor
Clutch slave cylinder
DCCD-A controller inc G-meter, switches & part of wiring loom.
(All from a car which had barely run-in)
Basically I'm considering selling this lot as I just cannot be bothered to fit it, I paid a good sum for this at the end of last yr with a slight discount through removing it from the donor myself. Just want to know if its worth selling on or sorting my idleness out & getting it fitted.
Thanks.

IMO:
The last question only you can answer, but a package like that all stripped and ready to ship with the dccd and loom would fetch about £2K to 2.5K I think on here.

O.K, thanks Graham, still not sure what to do. I hear from p1woc that you have already done this conversion, is this true & if so is it a big job to sort the wiring?
Thanks.
Thanks.

No, not true!
I installed a V6 Type R with dccd and controller into my Sti V3 non dccd car.
Lots have put 6 speeders into classics, dccd versions too, but the trick up your sleeve is you have all the sensors it seems, and THAT is worth a lot.
Not sure, but you might have the dccdA version with anti yaw (bit like the EVO system) so is more complex. If you have the full loom then the price goes up!

Ah my bad, I may have forgot to mension the extra gear in there to them!
I managed to get a plan of the DCCD-A system from another scoobynetter which proved very helpful, according to this I have all the sensors req'd except the wheel sensors which I was planning to use my own ABS system for. I also managed to rob an ABS electrical unit from the donor although im still struggling with the full wiring layout, wiring diagrams for the hawk-eye seem a bit scarse at the mo.

I'm interested, yet at the same time quite nervous about buying something like this as you'll never really know the history, and there's no guarantee.
If I did buy it, I'd be getting it installed by API, if they'd do it.
Cheers, MikeyB
