Please can someone tell me how to get the front hub off, I have wheel bearing problem.
I have undone the hub nut, should the hub slide straight off, it moves a bit but i`m wondering wether there is anything else holding it on.
Also does anyone know the torque setting for ther hub nut?

cheers

The front hub probably wont just come off like that. Most other cars have the hub a very tight press fit into a bearing, and the nut is just holding on the drive shaft spline to inner hub.

So, probably have to remove complete lower hub assembly by undoing two bolts through suspension strut, bolts through lower ball joint, steering arms etc and then have the hub and bearing pressed out. I have changed bearings several times before on my previous cars and have come to the conclusion that it is best to take the hub off and around to a garage who have a hydraulic press. This is because the 'tight fit' I mentioned above is usually a 10 ton press...
