Default center diff

Hello i have just bought a impreza sti tpye-r and there seems to be a problem with the center diff. There is various settings to adjust the power to wheels and when u put it onto bottom setting which is green it seems to be fine but if u put it into orange or up a few it feels as if the wheels were rubbing at front.Thnk its somethning to do with front diff or driveshafts? Any ideas please. Thanks

that's what it does the DCCD will gradually lock up the further you go up the scale, up to point where it will make slow manoeuvres 'interesting' don't worry about it

it gets far too technical for me when it goes on about having one wheel on ice and the other three on tarmac with the diff open a certain amount, etc. etc.
