Had inner off side CV joint split on me - chucked all the grease on to my cat - which is wrapped. Top Bond like smoke screen and it took weeks for it to burn off

Still, these things happen and I fitted a temporary boot and grease. However it's now clicking away (as other thread). It only happens when going forward turning right at the moment.

As it's Christmas and its turned chilly, how long have I got and what else will be damaged if it gets worse ?


Is is a hard DIY job, or just a couple of roll pins ?
