P1 Gearbox
Guys,
I have a 95 WRX import running 320 hp and it is supposed to have a P1 gearbox
in it, the ratios do seem short, max speed would be 160mph @ 7.5-8k revs rough estimate, im not convinced it's a P1 box, what would the difference be to the Jap box, apparently there is 65% or so drive to rear wheels ( does feel more rear wheel than front) is the Jap box similar ?
reason I ask is 3rd gear synchro has gone and it's getting a bit noisy !

In 4th 100-110mph=redline
5th gear 80mph = 4300rpm or there abouts
