Has anyone tried running with a Magnex downpipe and mid-section, with standard OEM back box ? If so whet were the results.
I want to keep the noice down to attract less attention from plod.

Magnex downpipe with STi decat centre section and Prodrive backbox is a pretty quiet combination. There is a Magnex centre with a resonator available. Could buy a Prodrive BB second hand - I mean the round one that comes with the PPP that looks like the SS BB but is much quieter, and is a lot less restrictive that the twin pea shooter one.
Apparently, Remus backboxes are known to be very quiet also.

Yup, Remus backboxes are quiet.
Got one. Burbles a lot better than the standard pea-shooter, but no louder. Sort of less nasal? The boxer bit of the engine can be heard, but sort of smoothly... Have I muddled everyone yet?
Haven't whopped on a dp/mid yet though - waiting for the the right one to come along. Might ruin the quiet smoothie effect somewhat...
