Default gearbox

hi i have a 94 wrx and was wonderin would an ra gearbox fit, is there any differance in the sti and wrx

I think the ra version gearbox run a rear 3.9 raio diff. Were as most of the early wrx & sti run a 4.1 rear diff.
You would need the transmission numbers on both gearboxes to make sure what diff they are running.
I will try to post a chart (trans no.) link so that you can check.
Also note that ra boxes run shorter gear ratios, not really motorway friendly.

i think mine is a 4.44 i have that chart aswell and i'd like it cos the accelaration

Yours is 4.11. And the RA box you'd need would be from a 93-94 WRX RA also 4.11 so straight swap. CODES are either TY752VB3BA or TY752VB3DA
