looking for sources besides the driveshaft shop for a set of uprated drive shafts?

I've had some made. But I would need to know what shafts you currently have.

Whats wrong with driveshaftshop? theres allways GKN or obviously paul.

they really are not set up to supply the old classic shafts and its been 2 months of back and fourth and no results yet.

Looks familiar. What are you after exactly? I only had the bare shaft made and built it into the stock joints. There are a number of options for you. Best to email me with what car you have, the hubs, diffs etc and I can advise what you can do. I know API have supplied you with some replacement standard parts, so you should have joints to use.

Question

Hope you dont mind me asking but what is the limits of new age Sti 7/8 shafts etc torque wise? Just wonder if mine will start to wear out...

They seem to be able to take in excess of 500lbft.

LOL mine just snap no warning of course this has always been on 1/4 mile launch
