Turbo temps!!!

Right guys does anyone know what temperature the outer casing on the turbo gets to on an impreza. Driving on and off boost.

600 deg C I'd expect,
The gases inside can be around 700-900 depending on tune.

Probably a bit more than 600 C as the exhaust casing can glow red when the car is ragged. Just look under the bonnet in the dark. EGTs around 800C in the down pipe are not unusual so maybe 700C.
