Default "Lumpy" Low End, WRX 02 PPP.

Hi,

I have had my first scoob for 4 weeks now, and whilst I am a noob, there's something bugging me slightly about the low end performance of the WRX I have.

Between 2k-4k rpm , in 2nd or 3rd, there seems to be very slight surging/judder when you either lightly press the gas, or floor it,
come off the gas in 2nd, quite a lot of engine braking..now I know its not the smoothest of rides and you can feel every bump and maybe I am picking up more and more as i get to know it...

Over 4k rpm when everything kicks in, its gr8, but its a funny beast driving it normally. I have just come form a 06 focus tdci.

WRX, 02, PPP, Wagon, 60k, full tank of V Power in it from Shell at the mo.

thanks,

Mark.

Default

my 03 plate Bugeye WRX seems to be very much the same.

It has sood and bad days. I have owned it for about 3-4months and am getting used to it. It seems to be better now i have changed the plugs and oil etc etc and i have also reverted back to the origanal intake box instead of a cone filter and that has helped.
