Does anyone know if the auto shifter mechanism from a newage impreza or perhaps late legacy with its stepped gate ( specifically 1-3 offset from the rest ! ) would fit a 1995 WRX auto ?

as far as I know the tranny is the same so would the shift mech be compatible? also does anyone know if it would fit my existing interior trim ?

think this could significantly improve manual shifting with the auto ! certainly protect against the 3-N at high speeds !!
