Default best injectors for over 500bhp

what are the best injectors to get for a newage car for over 500bhp, the person who mapped my car has told me to go straight for 1000cc injectors as the ecu can be altered to cope ?? but everyone always seems to think these sort of injectors are lumpy ??? he is mostly used to mapping evos so i was wondering if there was much difference in idle between the 2 cars once at that sort of power level??

The Power Enterprise 800's would be more than enough.

They may be a little lumpy at idle, but I'm sure Steve will do his best, and if you get 500bhp, I suspect you won't mind too much

Mark.

I agree the 800s would be enough for it, if the delta dash dyno jobby is halfway to being accurate then mine are running 62% max duty for 370bhp, so there is plenty of overhead there. Doing a rough calculation there should be enough fuel supply there for 600~bhp.

Just as a side note, the PE800s i have idle very nicely, apart from initial startup for 3 or 4 seconds....i was quite surprised

I hope so - cos I've just bought a set of LP 550cc's flow matched to 740cc second hand and can't wait to get them fitted!!!
