Unhappy

I was driving around the M25 today doing 2500rpm in 4th, when i tried to accelerate the engine seemed to cut out for about a second then started accelerating again. This has happened twice today.

Has anyone had this happen to them?

Could be overboost - have you just had a service or topped up the oil? Overfilling can lead to oil in the the pipes and boost control solenoid - cleaning it all out will fix it (if it's this).

Do a search, lots of info

if there isnt oil in it its not going to make much difference, but tell them about it during its service and they will sort it for you.

Accelerating under high load (high gear) is more likely to induce overboost than anything else. If it feels liek a massive stutter, or simply no power then this is without doubt over boost cut, and you are in no danger. Your dealership will rectufy it for you no problem.

Thanks for your help.

I will be taking for it's service in a couple of weeks, and I will ask them to look at it.
