I’ve recently had new 3rd & 4th gears fitted, new selectors etc (not a main dealer, under 3rd party warranty). When I took the car to the garage they told me the gearbox had noise reduction oil in it. Intermoto (now closed) are the only garage to have worked/serviced the car. Is it normal practise for a main dealer to us such oil. I’ve only ever been in or driven my own Scooby, so I’ve nothing to compare it with. All gears are louder then ever before, gear box feels brand new, just louder. MY97-R 60K miles.
