Should a Link be next?

So far, my modifications to my UK MY00 have ammounted to, a full de-cat exhaust and SS downpipe, HKS induction kit, HKS BOV, and a HKS front mounted intercooler.
The thing is, to be honest, the car doesnt seem to have improved as significantly as i'd hoped.
I've done all of the work myself. I'm not sure if just these mods will require for the car to be properly set up by a tuner.
Leaving me with the question, do i take the car as it is, to a be set-up properly? OR shall i take it somewhere and get a Link ECU fitted and all set-up properly in one go?!
I think that the second option sounds better! What do you reckon? Any advice will be much appreciated.
Also, do anyone know of somewhere in Essex that can supply, fit and map a Link ECU?

First of all, welcome to the Scoob community
Second, the only way you are going to take full potential
of the mod’s you have indicated is by altering the 3 big ones.
FUEL, IGNITION and BOOST!
The only way you are going to achieve this is by either using the following:
1/ Unichip (FUEL+IGNITION) + an added Boost controller
2/ LINK ECU (all 3)
3/ MoTec (all 3 and more - but big wongar!)
You can also buy separates, such as fuel controllers and boost controllers etc, but to be honest, by the time you have paid out and fiddled with all of them a new ECU is probably best and cheapest.
Some go for Unichips, which are good to a point IMHO but a more robust route is definitely LINK or MoTec. Unichips utilise the OEM ECU cold start and I believe idling strategies therefore making cold mornings and hot starts a breeze.
The Link requires some finessing for these parameters but it makes up for it's quirky characteristics by the reliable performance gains.

Your upgrades won't give their fullest performance increase until the car has been mapped.
And the Link does work very well with the MY00 (got one myself).
I'd take the car to Bob Rawle...

I have the APS gear, and a big turbo, and the way forward for me was the Link ECU. I knew the car was not running to it's full potential until I changed the ECU.
You could get a Unichip, but once you've bought a HKS EVC the price is nearly the same as a Link, and you get a far better product for your money! You could go Motec, as with the Link the best people to speak to are BRD.
Although BR Developments are not in Essex, they are not too far away in either Surrey or Swindon. Contact details at: http://www.brdevelopments.com

I have a uk99 spec with most of the same mods as you.Bob Rawle fitted the link package to mine.
I noticed alot more horsepower but what i was most impressed with was the torque,Lots of.
You will notice alot of difference as what you have already done will all work very well.
