Default Exhaust Question

Just bought a new de-cat exhaust system for my MY03 STi from Roger Clark Motorsport. Looks great and sounds even better. However the guys who fitted it for me couldnt get the guard back on that seperates the turbo from the intercooler because the new system is far too wide at that point.

Will this be a problem?

Any suggestions please guys?

Cheers

You can either cut the heat shield to fit and then obviously re fit it, else leave it off! If the downpipe is heat wrapped then you should have no problems. May find an increase in heat soak so give the i/c spray a good blast before your give it throttle for improved turbo response

Heat Wrapping? Is that something I'd have to buy and do myself??

Either way appreciate the feedback, thanks mate
