Ive got an jap import sti year 1998. Its only got 32k on the clocks, But im getting a knocking noise when ever i pull away. Then once moveing i get a whining noise. It all sounds like its comming from the back end of the car. Could it be the rear diff?? If so is there any where close to luton/bedford where i can get it fixed. The subaru garage in baldock wont touch it because its a jap import. How much am i looking at??? can any one help? cheers jon

 

Could be diff mate if its winning, try 24/7 spares(put a search in google) You put all your car details in and your email and mobile number and you then get various companys calling you with parts/prices. I got a diff for my MX5 that way. Prices differ quite a lot so just take down the details and go for the best deal. Failing that i am sure someone on SN will have one cheap.
