plated ra diff
hi guys i wonder if i can pick your brains again, i have just bought an ra and been told that it as a plated diff in it ,would this clunk on full lock as i have been told this is normal, what are your thoughts

A plated lsd will 'creek' as the car is driven slowly on full (ish) lock.
If the diff is set 'tight' it will give a near cracking sound as the diff 'slips' to allow the wheels to turn in the bend.
