Unhappy Head Gasket?

Had my Sti V5 for just over a month and i love it. a week or so ago i noticed bubbles in the expansion tank and now the car is using a LOAD of coolant. Iv looked for usual signs of head gasket problems ie water and milky substance in oil but oil is as clean and clear as the day it went in.

Is there any other common faults that may be occuring causing me 2 lose water? And with only having the car a short while money isnt something im finding growing on tree's at the moment so whats options if the gasket has gone? does this mean lifting the engine?

If lifting the engine is best..... while the engines out what would people suggest i replace / uprate ?

Cheers

Give me a call on Friday we're only 30 mins away from you and l'll talk you through the options. It probably is a head gasket failure as not much else can cause bubbles in the header tank and coolant loss.

Yes, it is an engine out job and yes there are some simple improvements that can be made at little or no extra cost that will make your car even better.

I'm on 01926 614333

Good luck whatever David APi Impreza / APi Engines

Good-day Graham, still getting away with the ' rubber' con rods I see
